G'day, my name is Kkye Hall. I'm a Melbourne based FX artist passionate about the technical aspects of art and love getting into the nitty gritty of what makes it pop. I spend a lot of my time exploring new ways of working and developing skills in the programs I enjoy working in. Over the past couple of years, I've been having a blast getting intimate with Houdini! I can't praise it enough, once I got started with it, I felt like I found my new home!
During my time at uni, I got familiar with game development in Unity. Since then, I've moved into Unreal Engine for use within the film industry. So far, I've delved into both VR pre-visualisation and virtual production using NDisplay, as well as shader development and real-time FX.
In the future, I see myself doing more and more FX work with Houdini and can't wait to see what Unreal Engine has in store for me!
