G'day, my name is Kkye Hall. I'm a Melbourne based FX artist passionate about the technical aspects of art and love getting into the nitty gritty of what makes it pop. I spend a lot of my time exploring new ways of working and developing skills in the programs I enjoy working in. Over the past couple of years, I've been having a blast getting intimate with Houdini! I can't praise it enough, once I got started with it I felt like I found my new home!
During my time at uni, I got familiar with game development in Unity. Since then, I've moved into Unreal Engine for use within the film industry. So far, I've delved into both VR previsualisation and virtual production using NDisplay, as well as shader development and real-time FX.
In the future, I see myself doing more and more FX work with Houdini and can't wait to see what Unreal Engine has in store for me!
